Construction Captured on CameraOn September 25, 2000, the people of Trinity Lutheran Church embarked upon an addition / remodel of their present facility. It involved adding a fellowship hall to the north complete with kitchen; expansion of the present narthex area; the addition of four offices to the east with a Youth Room on the lower level and a remodeling of the existing basement, dividing it into classrooms. On August 31, 2001 we were given access to the newly constructed building. Digital pictures highlight the progress of the work progress from the beginning of the project. Click on the week that you want to view. If you would like to receive a Photo CD of pictures (more than those available below) please sign up on the chart at church or contact Pastor Brandt by EMAIL. The CD is available for $1.00 plus shipping costs for those located away from Gillette. Check out the new Panoramic Pictures of Construction supplied by Roger Mortensen. Construction Note: The access given on August 31 was "temporary occupancy" and there are several items highlighted by the City of Gillette Building Inspector's Office and the Fire Chief's Office that are being addressed. By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as an expert builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should be careful how he builds. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:10-11 (c) New International Version |
